A well tuned drum kit is a beautiful thing. I often play kits that are old and battered, get out my tuning key and with an accumulated knowledge growing since 1990, I transform these drums into something musical. The most difficult drum to tune is the floor tom. It is mean and stubborn, but when you find its voice and make it sing - that is a wonder to behold.
